Photo Luck

Still really liking the photo class. A recent assignment had us attempting to shoot something in action for a set of shots, “freezing the action” and then shoot another set of shots in action, “showing the movement”.

I am quite happy with the results of these two particular photos … I lucked out! Not necessarily the best photos from an artistic standpoint, but the point was to get us to learn about shutter speed and aperture. Check these out … almost the exact pose and framing of Mary going down a slide, just a faster and slower shutter speed (some credit must go to the somewhat patient Mary) … check ‘em … no tripod! … and no Photoshop! … I swear!

Shutter speed: 1/2500 Aperture: f4.0

~V, the slide is in Glenview … we randomly ran into it … I wouldn’t go out of your way to see it … very small playground
