RailsConf Macs Gallore – Now Me Too!
So I won a coveted “Nonconformity” award at RailsConf last weekend for being one of the 50 or so of the 550 attendees who ( “on purpose” ) DID NOT bring an Apple laptop to the event. See:

Anyway, I had a MacBook Pro 17″ on order when I won my prestigious award, so I don't know if I really deserve it. I didn't really bring the Dell “on purpose”, I would've brought the Mac if I had it in my possession. Nevertheless, I got it this week, and it is awesome. Great screen, super fast, and Parallels with WinXP Pro (when I must) actually runs great so far. Here it is, I hope that the award police don't come and take my certificate!
Looking over at my old Dell, I can't help but think of that awesome Ikea lamp commercial, “Many of you feel bad for this computer. That is because you are crazy. It has no feelings. And the new one is much better!”
